About Us

We are Covenant Christians from Sanpete County, Utah and we are organizing this event!

How was this idea born? Sometime after last year’s youth retreat in Idaho, Sandie and Steve Jensen shared with us about wanting to host the 2025 youth retreat. Our fellowship wholeheartedly supported the idea! The retreat will be hosted at the Jensens' beautiful 10 acre ranch in Manti. We are families from Sanpete Fellowship of Christ and all of us with teenage kids are helping to organize this event. There are six couples/families total who are involved at this point.

We had many of our teenagers attend last year's retreat in Ashton, ID and they absolutely loved it! We really want to pay it forward and help organize something as fun and unifying for the youth.

Location

This year’s youth retreat will be held in Manti, Utah. Manti was the first community in Utah to be settled outside the Wasatch Front and served as the hub for the formation of many other communities in Central Utah. It is surrounded by stunning mountain ranges and scenic landscapes. We have many fun activities planned that outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate.

What should I bring with me to the youth retreat?

What To Bring

	* Tent (you can share if you plan ahead with another participant) with rainfly
	* Sleeping Bag
	* Camp chair
	* Enough changes of clothes
	* Toiletries (shampoo, soap, deoderant, etc.)
	* Scriptures and notebook (for group and individual study)
	Swimwear, towel, swim shoes (if swimming)
	Sunglasses, Hat, Sunscreen
	Water Bottle, Mosquito repellant, Chapstick
	Musical instrument (for talent show if interested)

You are responsible to identify and obtain what you need prior to the start of the retreat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, 13 - 18 years old but if your participant's birthday is within a few weeks of the retreat start date they are welcome as well.

Temple View Lodge and Temple Hill Resort RV & Campground are both located close to the retreat.
